A Life of Faith
A Life Of Faith
Christianity demands a life of faith. “And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6). Does this describe our lives?
In the Old Testament, Abraham serves as a superlative example of one who lived by faith. God promised to bless mankind through his seed. “Then he believed in the Lord; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness” (Genesis 15:6). His was a life of faith.
We are saved by faith, ” . . . obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls” (1 Peter 1:9). This is not referring to a one-time confession of faith. This is putting daily trust in God. “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7).
Are you living a life of faith? May God bless us all to this end!
